Oasis House Crisis Support Staff

Hours: Full-Time

Location: Hyde Park

Job Summary:

Oasis House staff work independently and as part of a treatment team to support clients experiencing a psychiatric crisis.  Staff help clients maintain their safety using a variety of skills including the following:  crisis intervention, supportive counseling, medication monitoring, observation and assessment, assistance with ADL’s, coordination of treatment, maintaining a safe and clean unit, and completion of all related documentation.

Education/Experience

Required: Bachelor’s degree and/ or a combination of education and/ or relevant experience equaling 4 years.

Preferred:  Bachelor’s degree in related field.  Experience working with adults in mental health crisis.

License/Certifications

Required:  Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and personal vehicle with current registration, state inspection, and appropriate insurance.

Preferred:   Safety training
