Alcohol & Substance Awareness Program Support Staff (Part-Time)

Job Summary:

The Alcohol Substance Abuse Awareness Program (ASAP) Support staff works directly with ASAP clients to provide assessment, referral and follow-up services as indicated.  The primary goal of an ASAP Support staff is to divert clients from corrections & provide a safe environment for someone to recover from the effects of alcohol and/or drugs.

Education/Experience

Required:  High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:  Experience in substance use and mental health treatment services preferred.  For individuals in personal recovery, a minimum of a one-year period of being clean and sober is required.
