Job Summary
Seeking a Shared Living Provider for an active young man in his mid 20’s. This young man enjoys working on cars and small engines, fishing and hunting, gaming, graphic design, and would like to live with someone who can engage with him and share in his interests and active nature! The Shared Living Provider would be responsible for making and getting him to medical appointments and providing a safe home with access to internet and some transportation. This position comes with a stipend and monthly room and board.
Lamoille County Mental Health Services Home Provider program is designed to keep individuals with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism in the community while providing a high quality of care and the necessary support for the individual to be successful in the community setting. Our program utilizes caregivers who want to share their homes with individuals who need assistance with daily living. Home providers work with their individuals 365 days a year and are compensated with a tax-free stipend, room, and board monthly payment, and have respite funding to allow the individual and home provider breaks.
