ITS House Support Staff

Program: Behavioral Health

Hours: Full-Time

Pay: from 19.75 

*$3 Hazard Pay Differential*

Location: Morrisville

Job Summary

ITS House staff work independently and as part of a treatment team to support Developmental Services clients also experiencing a psychiatric crisis.  Staff help clients maintain their safety using a variety of skills including the following:  crisis intervention, supportive counseling, medication monitoring, observation and assessment, assistance with ADLs, coordination of treatment, maintaining a safe and clean unit, and completion of all related documentation.

Education/Experience

Required: High School Diploma and a minimum of 2-4 years working with adults with developmental disabilities or a mental health disorder.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and/ or a combination of education and/ or relevant experience equaling 4 years.  Experience working with adults in a mental health crisis.

 

License/Certifications  

Required:  Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and personal vehicle with current registration, state inspection, and appropriate insurance.

Preferred:   Safety training
