Positive Behavior Support Specialist

Positive Behavior Support Specialists (PBSS) support students with a mental health diagnosis and, in some cases, a developmental disability. PBSS’s develop and oversee implementation of the Positive Behavior Support Plan; collect relevant data and present that data to the treatment team; share clinical insight and recommendations with the treatment team; and lead and/or participate in trainings. Responsibilities include full clinical oversight of the supports provided to assigned students including clinical supervision of behavior interventionists.
Education: Master's degree required. BCBA designation required; willing to pursue ABA certification preferred.
