Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the School-Based Therapeutic Staff is to provide strategic therapeutic intervention and support for higher needs students attending the East Meadow School in one-on-one and in group contexts during school and community activities. All students attending alternative school are supported by this position. This position requires specialized treatment and concentrated work with this complex population who have difficulty maintaining self-regulation in public school settings.

Education/Experience

Required:  Bachelor’s degree, or pursuing degree, preferably in the human services field.  With minimum of one year’s experience working with children who have emotional and/or behavioral disorders.
