Alcohol & Substance Awareness Program (ASAP) Screener

The ASAP (Alcohol Substance Abuse Awareness Program) Screener works directly with ASAP clients to provide assessment, referral and follow-up services as indicated. The primary goal of an ASAP Screener is to divert clients from corrections & provide a safe environment for someone to recover from the effects of alcohol and/or drugs.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the duties satisfactorily; the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Experience in substance use and mental health treatment services preferred. For individuals in personal recovery, a minimum of a one-year period of being clean and sober is required.
