IVY Community Skills Worker
Program: Developmental Services
The Integrative Community Skills worker provides services and supports to children who are experiencing emotional disorder, developmental disorders, co-occurring disorders, and/or who are at risk of developing emotional disorder. The Integrative Community Skills Worker takes direction from Service Coordinators, Managers, and Therapists. This incumbent will use effective strategies of play, acceptance, curiosity, and empathy in working with youth where complex trauma, mental health issues, developmental disabilities, and attachment issues are prevalent.
Education: High school or equivalent required with a minimum of 1 year experience teaching of social skills, life skills, or coping skills required. BA in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field with same experience preferred.
