School-based Therapeutic Staff

Hours: Full-Time (School Calendar Year)
The primary responsibility of the School-Based Therapeutic Staff is to provide strategic therapeutic intervention and support for higher needs students attending the East Meadow School in one-on-one and in group contexts during school and community activities. All students attending alternative school are supported by this position – the primary caseload is 5-8 students. None of these students have been able to self-regulate in public school settings so this position requires specialized treatment and concentrated work with this complex population.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is required.
