School-based Clinician

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the School Based Clinician (SBC’s) is to provide strategic therapeutic intervention and support for students in contracted school(s), in 1:1 and group contexts during school and community activities. SBCs must provide a minimum of 22 hours per week of direct service.  Services may include therapy, specialized rehabilitation, and a limited amount of case management.  The SBC must also attend staff meetings, treatment team meetings, and school meetings as may be required by individual schools and LCMHS.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree, or pursuing MA degree in human services field with at least one year experience in providing outpatient or inpatient mental health services to children and adolescents required.  State of Vermont licensure or rostering in a mental health field or related area preferred.

License: State of Vermont licensure or rostering in a mental health field or related area preferred.
